Computer Vision Laboratory at Hacettepe University (HUCVL) focuses on developing effective techniques and tools for enabling machines to better interpret and understand visual data. The group was formed in 2012 and is comprised of several faculty members and undergraduate and graduate students within the Department of Computer Engineering, conducting research in the field of computer vision, machine learning and multimedia data mining.
Our research spans a broad range of topics including action and activity recognition, computational visual attention, historical document analysis, image editing, language and vision, large scale object and scene recognition, video summarization.
